Montreal – InterBox held a press conference to announce the December 6th showdown between WBC Diamond light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17 KO) of Canada and current IBO super middleweight champion Donovan George (26-4-2, 22 KO) of Chicago. The two champions will lock horns at the Montreal Bell Centre. This bout will mark the first of a multi-fight agreement reached between Jean Pascal, Jean Pascal Promotions and InterBox. I'm getting really tired of these phony titles. WBC Diamond title? Wtf does that mean? Is there a Gold title and a Ruby title as well? This is pure nonsense. Neither guy is a legitimate SMW or LHW champion. Boxrec has George ranked #25 at SMW and Pascal #3 at LHW. How does that make this a world title match? Get real WBC and IBO. This fight is not a real title fight. It is a non-title match between a top 5 and top 25 ranked fighter.
