BoxingScene.com has been advised by multiple sources that former heavyweight title challenger Chris Arreola (35-4, 31KOs) will return to the ring on December 11th at the Pechanga Hotel and Casino in California. Arreola lost his last fight which was for the vacant WBC title against Bermane Stiverne. Arreola's opponent hasn't been determined yet.

BoxingScene has also been advised that former junior middleweight champion Austin Trout (27-2, 14KOs) will likely appear in the televised co-featured bout also against an opponent yet to be determined.

A bum probably. Virtually every relevant Heavyweight just fought recently or has a fight coming up.

Jermall Charlo earlier today said he's fighting in December also. Against Trout possibly?

Arreola vs Jon Banks maybe? His fight with Tarver got cancled.

For Trout; Charlo, Julian Williams have December dates also but no opponents. Francisco Santana and Eddie Gomez and Delvin Rodriguez all available. So are Vanes and Willie Nelson but the just faught. Clottey, Kirkland?

It would be good to see Trout again before the years up.

He didn't look too good in his last fight

Arreola is done. He can keep fighting cans, but he isn't a top contender anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if he balloons in weight again, kid lacks discipline.

No discipline definitely. My guess he gets way fat and fights cans til he's 50. Not much else for a guy like him to do.
