Artie Pelullo, CEO of Banner Promotions, reached out to BoxingScene.com to respond to some recently published comments from Bob Arum, the CEO of Top Rank.

Former junior welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov (23-3, 16KOs) has complained about his inability to secure HBO televised fights against several names in Arum's vast stable.

When BoxingScene's Radio Rahim questioned Arum about Provodnikov's complaints, the veteran promoter indicated that Pelullo was difficult to deal with.

How in the hell does Arum get away with just straight lying every time he opens his mouth?

From Floyd, to Oscar, Mikey Garcia, and Chavez jr. their managers and respective managers at the time and now Ruslan, this guy is a snake.

How does he keep getting a pass. He says one thing then someone comes out and blast him for lying. What about HBO and Showtime green-lighting the Floyd/Manny fight? Why have we heard no statement from them? What about all those fighters they were looking at before they went with Chris the Crusher Algeri?

I lose faith in the general public when they eat up whatever b.s. this guy is selling.

That would be a good fight. There's so much talent at 140 it's a disgrace that we keep getting Garcia vs salka, Lucas vs Ortiz, Peterson vs unknown. If they fought each other the sport would grow, even if they lost they'd be bigger stars and make more cash. Khan got his block knocked off and he's still relevant, I don't know why everyone is so afraid of losing.

Props to a few guys on this forum they called this a few months ago saying that Arum would run Andrade and Provodnikov off of HBO and SURE ENOUGH!

The Andrade vs Korobov situation is what ended Banner Promotions on HBO IT SEEMS

But this may be a blessing in disguise because the Action at 154 for Andrade and for Provodnikov at 140 or 147 is on Showtime anyway. So I think Andrade or Provodnikov will workout for the BEST anyway.

I hear ya man but in the end money talks and arum is loaded. He has the money to put on big events, sometimes you have to do business with piles of **** like arum, there's not many options.
