GGG is already 32 / 33 years old - wishfull thinking but HBO and Showtime need to turn into promoters and force fights - they are the 2 buggest networks that fund boxing, at least get a real return on investment..

exactly this. cotto is well past his prime and is much smaller, so it's easy picking for canelo.

He won't duck him but he'll ask for a ridiculous amount $ to fight him, which he knows he won't get lol. In all seriousness, if there's one dude that has balls and would face the best of the best, is canelo. I just expect him to ask for a career high payday to do so.

How I long for the throw back era of "I'll fight whoever, whenever, wherever, however and where do I sign?"

Instead we are left with the era of:

"I'll fight you two or three years down the line"

"I'll fight you but let me see how many PPV buys you have to see if you are worthy"

"I'll fight you but you first must agree to this ridiculous catchweight"

"I'LL fight you only if you agree to leave your promoter and sign under my promotional banner."

"I wont fight you in a championship fight unless you let me walk out last despite you being the champ because I am the "A" side of the card."

"I won't fight you unless you wear my pillow size gloves. "
