Frank Cotroni Jr. (9-3-1), who was a Canadian champion at welterweight in 2013, was measured by Richard Reittie (11-4-1) in the main confrontation presented at the Hilton Casino du Lac-Leamy (Gatineau). The was presented by Boxing Club in the East, in collaboration with Final Round Boxing of Ottawa.
Cotroni did not drag things. Beginning in force, he sent Reittie to the ropes with a solid right in the early exchanges. The referee finally stopped the fight at 45 seconds of the first round.
