Ronny Rios takes a dangerous stay busy fight upon his road to featherweight title contention. The unbeaten Californian squares off versus Robinson Castellanos in a scheduled 10-round bout Friday evening at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.
Both fighters made weight during Thursday's pre-fight weigh-in festitivitie. Rios (23-0, 10KOs) tipped the scales at 128 lb., while former Top 10 featherweight contender Castellanos (19-10, 12KOs) came in at 127 lb. for their Fox Sports 1 headliner.
In the co-feature, another rising young contender from California graces the TV screen as Antonio Orozco faces faded former 130 lb. titlist Steve Forbes in a scheduled eight-round super lightweight bout.
