Comments Thread For: Mayweather Sr. Continues To Rip Ellerbe: He's Nothing

Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of WBC/WBA 147 and 154 champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., fully supports his son's recent criticisms of Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe.

Damn, I didn't realize that Rafael Garcia was retiring. Definitely one of the best cut men in the business.

Yeah, he retired over the handwrap issue. He was really only staying around for Floyd til Floyd finally left the game. He wanted to retire with Floyd. And I agree, definitely a great cut guy too.

Too bad Floyd SR is exactly the same level as Ellerbe in his own profession.

I didn't even realize that he used a different cut man for Maidana 2. I thought for sure I saw Gracia in the corner. That's a bummer that he couldn't stay with Floyd for his last few fights.

This is an awkward one for floydspastics who have spent years telling us that the fruity lil' twink was a master businessman.

I think he knows he's treading on dangerous territory if he goes there again.
