PABLO CHACON, former WBO super featherweight champion, is fighting a new kind of battle. The former bronze medal winner at Atlanta, will have surgery on both eyes, for detached retinas. Chacon, who was waiting for a title shot against Rodrigo Barrios, must wait two months for to know if can persist in the boxing business, at least with gloves. “Health first, of course –says Chacon-, I must think in myself now. I am training some young boxers in Mendoza, in my gym. I don’t know if I will continue training boxers or just correcting them. But I don’t quit boxing, for sure”. [details]
