Comments Thread For: Team Provodnikov: Rios, Vargas, Tim Bradley Said 'No'

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with Vadim Kornilov, who manages former WBO junior welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov and several other fighters. Provodnikov is scheduled to return to the ring on November 28th in his homeland of Russia.

The fighter known as "Siberian Rocky" was originally slated to return to the ring in the United States but his team's attempts to secure a top level opponent failed. Kornilov is confident that Ruslan will be back on HBO's airwaves in 2015.

Sounds about right, no one wants to nurse a 3-month swollen shut eye. Only a few brave ones out there. Props to Algieri for that, he knew the was a greater good getting past the beast and now he's getting a life changing payday with Pacquaio. Someone will grow a pair and step-up to the plate and fight this caveman.

LOL @ Danny Garcia not taking the fight... Who isn't shocked by that one? I mean Danny Garcia is supposed to be the King of the 140 division and he's taking two "stay busy" fights, and one he clearly lost...

I've already heard that Al Haymon is not that eager to put Danny in there with Pacquiao either...

I'm assuming another tune up fight for Danny this time on NBC sports...

As far as Ruslan... I still want to see him in there with a real slugger who can take a punch.. Alvarado wasn't that guy.. either was Bradley.. Rios, Diego Chavez would be realistic fights..not sure why Rios didn't take the fight...

These guys didn't want to fight him when he had a world title. Provodnikov has Top Rank shook.
