It is amazing the dude is still only 28 really his whole career could be in front of him, and the fact he has stuck with it does some some decent determination so maybe he could work it out. I have seen stranger things happen.

He's more persistent than any other boxer I've known.. Nobody can't deny that.... I feel sad for him cos the dude really deserves a payday... Just for seniority !!!

The whole Freddy Roach story with Vanes made me feel bad for Vanes also. Vanes was with Freddy back when Vanes was an amateur before Freddy was anyone, and he pushed Vanes to the side as Roach become the big time trainer and he stuck with Roach for a long time trying to get his eye back.

He is kind of boring but when he actually lets his hands go dude can throw very nice punches. He is also kind of a spoiler so hopefully he fights more positively going forward.

Just watching and talking boxing like always, and it is always good to come into threads like this where it is easy to actually talk boxing. Even if about a guy like Vanes who is not highly thought.
