Former WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly will consider retirement if he loses the upcoming rematch with Tony Bellew on November 22nd in Liverpool. Cleverly beat Bellew in 2011 to retain his WBO crown at 175-pounds, but the rematch will take place at the cruiserweight limit of 200-pounds.
Both fighters are still rebuilding after suffering knockout defeats in 2013. Cleverly was blown out by Sergey Kovalev, while Bellew was punished and stopped by Adonis Stevenson.
