Comments Thread For: Marco Huck Breaking From Sauerland, Eyes Klitschko

After ten years of a very successful working relationship, WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (38-2-1, 26KOs) is planning to break out on his own, according to statements made by the fighter to Bild Sport.

Huck, 29-years-old, has formed his own promotional company - Huck Sports Promotion - and has his brother Kenan as CEO. Huck's contract with Sauerland Event expires in December and boxer is not planning to renew the deal.

How about a Yoan Pablo Hernandez fight? Or is that a trainer thing? Either one of them would work.

Good to hear. Huck is awesome. Huck v. Klitschko would be something HBO would have to pick up, you would think.

Long time cruiserweight champion + arguably beat the guy that was supposed to be one of Wlad's best wins in Povetkin.

        Don't see why it's fat-fetched.

Not that Huck has a chance though.

Pfft. Ducking that Lebedev rematch like the plague. After all, he rematched Afolabi and Arslan.

Nothing wrong with this fight. Huck held his own with Povetkin. I'd rather watch Huck with Wlad than another Pianeta or Wach. Maybe even get a rematch with Steve Cunningham at HW as a tune-up?

He wants to take the Tomasz Adamek path it sounds like.

Hershman was talking about Huck possibly on HBO before...wonder if we'll see him in the US.

Would HBO televise a fight with someone like Bryant Jennings?

Huck is smart to break from Sauerland. At least smarter than Pulev who signed a promotional deal with Kalle Sauerland and a Manager deal with his father Wilfried Sauerland. IF Pulev is lucky he gets 50 percent of his purse.....
