Comments Thread For: DeGale, Quigg, Joshua Land on Cleverly-Bellew PPV

Tony Bellew will finally seek his revenge against arch rival Nathan Cleverly when the pair meet in the hugely-anticipated grudge match exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Three years ago, Cleverly defeated Bellew by a tight majority decision as he defended is WBO World Light Heavyweight crown and finally the rematch is on. On November 22 the pair will go head to head for the second time but at Cruiserweight back at the Echo Arena in Bellew’s home town of Liverpool.

Sjekloca is a decent step up for Smith. Sprott is pointless for Josh though.

Predictable that Sprott is next for Joshua, but I think his 'stiff test' value has dropped a lot over the years. After it's over, Joshua should be moved onto good contenders rather than gatekeepers. I'm not saying throw him in there with a risky Tony Thompson, but someone durable who could stretch him through more rounds - Sexton, Pajkic, Liakhovich, Malik Scott, winner of Meehan-Cameron, etc.

both these guys are mediocre, cleverlys idea of boxing is put his guard up , chin down and have a scrap, thats only going to get you so far, bellews got the technique although he's a bit tall and slow, if he knew distance he could throw his punches and be back out of range and frustrate cleverly. As for sekloka being an eliminator that guy is one of the most basic boxers, he should be not even in the top 50.

as in i think Sprott might be a gimme before fighting Bahktov?

Hopefully anyway. Otherwise this fight is completely pointless

It would really depend on the price I would reckon, I could see paying a modest sum for that card should be fun even if not the highest end stuff.

On the US price scale this would be like 40 pounds, but for like 15 (a shade over $20 for people that can't convert currency) I could see enjoying that card.
