  • Comments Thread For: Denis Lebedev Wants Marco Huck Rematch Next

WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (26-2, 20KOs) of Russia is hungry for revenge against longtime WBO champion Marco Huck. Lebedev, now trained by Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach, believes he will do more than enough in a rematch to secure a victory. He blames his old corner for giving away the first match by going easy in the last two rounds. Huck won a twelve round split decision in 2010 with scores of 115-113 twice and third card was 116-112 for Lebedev.

Not happening, ever. Huck will continue to fight creampuffs, and Lebedev (as much as I like him) will probably fight Jones in a rematch... Roy Jones, that is.

Beterbiev and Drozd should fight each other in the meantime.

Yeah, I don't think Huck wants any part of a Lebedev rematch.

Good that he recognizes the mistake in the first fight. He gave the fight away in the second half. Maybe Lebedev should rematch RJJ as Huck crushes Nelson and then they could unify after.

There is still no way Huck won that fight. That was really a robbery, one of the worst i have seen.

I think I scored it 7-5. Lebedev clearly won, but as he said, he made a mistake and gave away the championship rounds. I thought his activity dropped a few rounds before that even. Not even close to the worst robbery, a draw wasn't much out of reach.

Lebedev should fight Rakhim Chakhkiev in Moscow.
