    The Philippines multi-titled lightweight Charly Suarez won an epic battle against Indian Olympic Games quarter finalist and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Akhil Kumar to enter the quarter finals at the Asian Games in Incheon yesterday evening.

    Kumar won the first round on the scorecards of the three judges 29-28 but Suarez boxing intelligently outgunned Kumar in the second round dropping the hard-hitting Indian in the round which, according to ABAP Executive Director Ed Picson was not counted as a knockdown by the referee although Charly still won the round to set up a fascinating third and deciding round.     Is that Charly Suarez, who was thoroughly beaten and knocked down by Lomachenko in WSB? 'cause if that's him, he's kinda sucks.
