Comments Thread For: Hassan N’Dam: Curtis Stevens Quit Against Golovkin

Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam’s two children, aged four and two, are over 5,600 miles away in Seine-Saint Denis, France, and the fact that he hasn’t been able to see them in months has made him one angry dad.

“It’s part of the sacrifice for my family,” N’Dam said Wednesday from his Southern California camp heading into his ESPN2-televised Oct. 1 IBF middleweight title eliminator (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT), “and the only guy who’s going to pay for that is Curtis Stevens in the ring.”

After giving everything he had and taking a beating.

At least he was willing to fight Golovkin, unlike N'Dam.

What a b*tch thing for N'Dam to say. He pulled a Peter Quillin and dumped his belt rather than face Golovkin when he was GGG's mandatory.

Also N'Dam ducked Pirog. Pirog had another fight lined up and then it fell through but N'Dam quickly scheduled Bursak after Pirog said he wanted to fight N'Dam.

That's pretty damn harsh. Stevens put up an incredibly brave effort and was stopped by his corner.

What a prick. Curtis was taking a serious prolonged beating, those don't end well and I've seen guys end up in a coma from them. He was on his way there if his corner didn't stop it or if he didn't quit. No shame in that.

Stevens quit in the Dirrell fight, not the GGG fight.
