Comments Thread For: BoxingScene Ratings Update: Salido, Cuellar, Narvaez

Lightweight: WBA titlist returned to action after a year and a half out of the ring, successfully defending his title. He returns to the top ten here as well. Paulus Moses slips out of the top ten.

Jr. Lightweight: Orlando Salido’s win over Terdsak Kokietgym was one of the best fights of the year and earned him an interim belt in the class. Given recent success at Featherweight along with this win, it’s enough to crack the top ten. Bryan Vazquez exits.

Curious why Zleticanin is ranked ahead of Figueroa at lightweight. Omar is a world champion with two title defenses.

Got a belt for beating who though? Burns and Petrov are better wins than Fig has yet posted IMO and Belmontes could have been an L

In my view Petrov isn't any more world class than some of the guys Figueroa has fought, Boxcino not withstanding.

But you have a point about Ricky Burns. Even if it was the post-Beltran version whose career is in free fall.
