Comments Thread For: Paez-Herrera, Berchelt-Escalante Double on October 11

Zanfer Promotions has put together a doubleheader on October 11th at Coliseo Yucatán. In the main event, Jorge Paez Jr. (37-5-1, 22KOs) continues to rebuild form his upset decision loss to Vivian Harris, and he will take on Aaron Herrera (27-3, 17KOs) in a welterweight contest. In the co-feature, there will be fireworks expected and a decision is not likely, as super featherweight Miguel Berchelt (23-1, 20KOs) will trade punches with Antonio Escalante (29-6, 20KOs).

Berchelt should be world champion by next year.

The guy who blasted him out inside of 3 minutes should be first in line, not him.

that kid that blasted berchelt should get a title shot first but his promoters don't keep him busy enough he is not ready for no title shot. Berchelt has been busy since his defeat and should be ready for a title shot sooner then later.

That is actually not true. It's the opposite. Flores has had 3 fights since he torched Berchelt, all in 2014 and Berchelt has had 2 fights since. If anyone is ready or deserves the shot, it is the guy who Berchelt couldn't last a single round with. Flores overwhelmingly proved he was the better man and the one who deserves a shot first.

Berchelt has had far 2 many setups, & only 2, IMO, real bouts, especially the 1 he got ko'd in (that's the guy Escalante should b boxing)...big concern is how good is Berchelt's sparring, not a lot of quality out where he's from: Merida..
