  • Comments Thread For: Abregu: I Was Too Risky, Pacquiao Picked Easier Foe

Luis Carlos Abregú (36-1, 29 KOs) sounds frustrated as he speaks to BoxingScene from his home in Argentina. After fighting only once in the last year following a hand injury, his mood is understandable, added to that the fact that he has been waiting for a new date and opponent for a number of months.

“It’s been a long time and I’m a bit annoyed because I still don’t have any news,” he confesses.

Abregu is even more avoided than Keith Thurman, we all saw what he did to Tim Bradley... Bradley was never the same after the Abregu fight...

Don't worry Abregu, your Latino and "highly" ranked... I'm sure Floyd has you on his short list for May 2015 with Carlos Molina and a Canelo rematch...

Algieri is an easier fight than Abregu, no question.

&Bob can't seem to get him any fights, but if they wanted an easy ko, they would've picked abregu

lol what? Bradley beat him easily.

Abregu's got a weak chin, Pac would KO him.

                  Algieri is a better fighter.
