Comments Thread For: Algieri: After I Beat Pacquiao, Boxing Landscape Changes

WBO 140-pound champion Chris Algieri is thinking big. The fight of his career is lined up for November 22nd, when he moves up in weight to challenge WBO 147-pound champion Manny Pacquiao in Macua, China. If Algieri is successful, he sees WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. as a possible next option.

I'm curious to know what Algieri's gameplan is for this fight? No way I can see him beating Pac. He's way out of his league. You don't go from fighting nobodies to nearly escaping with a with over Ruslan to fight a guy like Pac. His lack of power and experience on the big stage, to me, has him losing this fight handily. Pac would really have had to lose several steps and just not even train to lose this fight. Anybody got any idea on how Algieri can pull it off?

In reality, what will happen if he beats Manny is that he will just get a load of hate like Tim Bradley did.

U'r confusing winning vs getting a gift......

Danny G is a perfect example, Dudes hate meter was off the charts after the Herrera decision.

Bradley never beat Pacquaio, hence the "hate" (disgust) he got

He outboxed your avi with one eye. PAC came into camp out of shape compared to other fights. I'm thinking Chris is a live dog .

Work a few rounds, get exposure, get KO'd, get paid, then get laid - easy.
