Jamal Woods (6-13-3, 6 KOs) pulled off a minor upset by stopping crowd favorite Steven Moreno (6-2, 6 KOs) in the first round at the Bayou City Events Center in Houston. Woods landed a left hook-straight right combo flush on the chin that dropped Moreno on his knees. Moreno beat the count but wobbled on spaghetti legs prompting referee Sam Garza to wave the fight over at the 1:19 mark.

Everyone of the featured fighters on that card were fighting cab drivers. Check out the records, one undefeated fighter was in with a 0-9 record, another was 3-14, a undefeated against a 3-18 and in the main event 9-0 vs 5-10 fighter. Wow is all I can say with edge of your seat battles like that.,..
