    Former champion Marcos Maidana (35-5, 31KOs) will take a nice long rest and spend time with his family before he sits down to discuss his ring return. Maidana has fought three times, in three tough fights, in the last ten months.

    He shocked Adrien Broner to take his undefeated record and WBA welterweight title last December. He came back in May and lost a twelve round majority decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr., and then face Mayweather again last Saturday and lost a twelve round unanimous decision.
