Negotiations are ongoing between Andrade's co-promoters, Banner Promotions and Star Boxing, with Top Rank and HBO officials regarding a potential fight for a vacant WBO middleweight title fight against No. 1 contender and unbeaten Russian Olympian, Matt Korobov.

Andrade was also mentioned by Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar de la Hoya as one of three potential candidates to fight junior middleweight Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

Forget about Canelo. He's a limited fighter who has achieved fame only due to his nationality. Move up to MW, pick up a belt in a 2nd division, and build your legacy. GGG, Quillin, Jacobs are all at MW, plus even Canelo will be there after one more fight. Lot's of options, but you have to hang an L on Korobov first.

Canelo is not a current champion so he can fight who ever he wants. If he was a current champion like say Danny Garcia who fought Salka then yeah I understand the criticism. STFU Andrade.

What else would you expect from Team Andrade, quiet mouths don't get fed. If Canelo goes to 160 I am sure he is going to want a strap and not face Golovkin off the rip, so I guess that is what Andrade is angling for.

I like Andrade but he needs to chill the fuck out already... Canelo just fought with Trout, Mayweather, Angulo and Larain a row. If someone doesn't deserve critics cause his recent opponents, then that boxers is Canelo. I don't understand why is Andrade so mad. He just won that title in a year and he is young he will have oppourtinity to a big payday in the next few years.

Right? There seems to be a new guy after every fight. And with the exception of Mayweather, he fought and beat them.

I understand why Andrade's team is making noise, and I think a lot of people would like to see this fight, but just because they weren't chosen from the "short list" doesn't really warrant all of the whining in my opinion.
