Former world title challenger Robert Marroquin (23-1-1, 16 KOs) sparred rounds today at the Vivero Boxing Gym in Dallas TX with super featherweight prospect DeAnthony Bonner (7-1, 2 KOs) in preparation for his return on September 26th against Miguel Soto of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Marroquin and Bonner will be featured on the undercard of the Iron Mike Productions "Big Texas Throwdown" at the Mesquite Arena in Mesquite, Texas. Headlined by a WBA bantamweight title fight between champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (35-2-1, 12 KOs) of San Miguelito, Panama and #1 ranked contender & two-time Olympian Juan Carlos Payano (15-0, 8 KOs) of the Dominican Republic, the co-main event will be middleweight contender Charles "The Future" Hatley (16-1-1, 16 KOs) vs Joachime Alcine (35-7-2, 21 KOs).
