Copenhagen, Denmark - Sauerland Promotions´ show at the TAP 1 Arena opened with Swedish heavyweight Adrian Granat (or Granate as the Germans have it). Granat (5-0, 4) outscored durable Czech journeyman Tomas Mrazek (9-48-6) over six. Granat, promoted by EC Boxing in Hamburg, won every round clearly and worked the body well with hooks from both hands. Mrazek however was tough and got through with a southpaw left every now and then and it was a good learning fight for the Swede. It was scored 60-54 twice and 60-53.

“Cecilia Braekhus is now the first woman ever to hold all four major titles.”

But why does Cecilia have to pay any of these boxing orgs. for getting
the recognition of being No. 1 – which, undoubtedly, she is.
Being the best in the world, the recognition should come for free.

The fighters are the ones who are risking their health – so why are they a
bunch of people, not risking anything, who presume they have the right to shoplift from boxers’ purses.

If any member of WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO read this – which one or two of you
must have been – explain to us boxing fans, why you have to get paid by
a boxer who really deserves to be a world champ before you can recognize
      him/her as it?

In my eyes, you are just a bunch of scumbags. You’re free to argue to why
I might be wrong in my thinking.

I'm surprised you ask such a question? Why does any boxer wanna fight for a LEGIT belt? Its a accomplishment in the sport to win one. Thats the way it is now, and its gonna be impossible to change.

But, WOW what a fight!! Habazin was tough ass nails and took what Braekhus brought. Very close to be stopped in the 10th but Habazin survived. Braekhus still needs to work on her power tho. But you never know how much a fighter can take before she steps in with legit competition, and this was Habazins hardest fight.

Legit? Because some crooked businessmen say so? Then, explain to me, why should Cecilia have to pay them to get their recognition? If she doesn't, they won't consider her as a world champ. Again, legit?

I know man, I don't disagree with you. But this is how the sport has becomed, unfortunately. Cant do nothing about it.

But she is not paying them off to be considered the best. she wins

That's why I think every cent of the prize money belong to Cecilia, Habazin and their camps, and shouldn't be shared with a Mr. Sulaiman in Mexico or a Mr. Mendoza in Panama.

The Ring world belts come for free - to the best who deserve it - and recently, it ranked Braekhus P4P #1 female fighter of the world.
In my opinion, that's worth a lot more than any alphabet belt
