    Hard Rock Casino, Las Vegas, NV - BoxingScene.com caught up with former lightweight champion Brandon Rios who was on hand to watch his stablemate Jesus Cuellar knockout Juanma Lopez in 2 rounds in the FoxSports 1 co-featured fight.

    Rios last fought in August when he defeated Diego Chaves via disqualification. He said that the tentative plan is for him to return late in the fall.

    This fight has lost its push due to both rios and alvarado not liveing up to there hype against top ranked boxers honestly both lose to the top guys at 140 and 147 so this fight should wait let them both win again then make the 3rd to finish them in headline bouts.

                  Alvarado Is Thee Only Fight For Rios; Looking For A Paycheck

                  Alvarado beats Rios again no question. I'd rather see Rios fight Thurman or Matthysse or Provodnikov, that way we won't have to hear from Rios again. Rios has NEVER beaten anyone credible but the media keep puffing him up as something special. Fans get in love with this clown. He's a Friday Night Fights guy at best.
