‘Saint’ George Groves had two shots at becoming a major titlist, each time suffering stoppage losses to Carl Froch. His ring return on September 20 is geared towards positioning for a third title shot, but his opponent believes it’s time for someone else to get their turn.

Christopher Rebrasse realizes he is a considerable underdog marching into the lion’s den for his upcoming showdown with the top-rated super middleweight contender. The bout takes place at Wembley Arena in London, England, with the winner in line to next face newly crowned titlist Anthony Dirrell.

Groves (19-2, 15KOs) is by far the more celebrated of the two, as evidenced by the show’s Return of the Saint billing. Rebrasse gets that, but would like to see his hard work—coupled with a forthcoming win, of course—pay off.

“I took the traditional route,” said Rebrasse (22-2-3, 6KOs), who is unbeaten in his last eight contests. “First I became French champion, then EU (European Union) champion and now that I’m European champion the next step for me is to win a world title.

“That is my dream, that is my only objective and I will do everything I can to achieve it. I won’t let anything or anyone stand in my way, including George Groves.” [Click Here To Read More]
