Comments Thread For: Maidana: I'll Show Everyone Mayweather Isn't All That!

Marcos "El Chino" Maidana (35-4, 31KOs) wants to impose his will on WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) in Saturday's rematch, taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Maidana, after losing a twelve round majority decision to Mayweather in May, feels even more confident going into the rematch. He no longer views Mayweather as some invincible force and aims to put him away.

Madaina had him running and covering up like a little school girl looking for their mummy. Floyd was to scared to even land a counter punch for the first five rounds.lol.

Marcos Maidirty is going to show everyone how much more dirtier he can brawl.

I'm thinking Floyd puts him on his ass one time in the fight.

            Its Floyds decision

He decides if Maidana will have the chance to hit him or not. 80% of the viewer knew that Maidana would be too easy after a dominant performance against Canelo and so did Floyd. He let him come and gave him every chance at the ropes. But u guys really thought it was competetive and to proof how wrong are, Floyd will pick him apart so easy u will need an excuse for.
            Get ready boys.

I appreciate maidana's confidence but mayweather is all that and let's face it he has been Floyd's toughest fight to date he was able to avoid most of chino's power punches or if he did get hit it wasn't crisp but the thing is when Floyd did get hit he was still on his feet where the other opponents would have crumbled it will be a great fight but in the end mayweather will outbox him like he did the first time I'm not sayin it won't be close but in the Floyd will get the win.

Honestly I hope Maidana can actually shock everyone and pull off the upset, but realistically I can't see him winning more than 3 rounds. His best chance was in the first fight while Floyd was willing to engage and stay on the ropes in order to counter punch and entertain the crowd due to pressure from the fans and media that weren't thrilled with the fight taking place to begin with. This time he's going to use his legs and the ring a lot more, he's going to stay off the ropes, he's going to box and he's going to pick Chino apart for 12 rounds similar to how he beat Guerrero and Canelo.
