WBC featherweight Champion Jhonny Gonzalez and Jorge "El Travieso" Arce came face to party line, at the weekly World Boxing Council presser, where quips, one liners and lots of laughs were flying around at 100 MPH, prior to the serious business, when they clash in Los Mochis on October 4th.

Keen rivals Televisa and TV Azteca are combing, to give the fans this all Mexican fisticuff fiesta. Travieso of the gravel voice, and machine gun rapid verbal delivery, was in sparkling quick fire form, down a scratchy old line.

He acknowledged and relished that the odds are against him, saying that's really motivating him, and he stressed that this is the fight the fans want to see! [Click Here To Read More]

Jhonny's power is greater than Donaire's.. and we all saw what Donaire did to an over the hill/bloated Arce at 122. With that in mind, imagine what will happen to him at 126 once he tastes Jhonny's power. I don't see this fight as competitive at all, if anything this fight won't make it past 3 rounds. If it does, Arce should be thankful to Gonzalez for letting him live that much longer in the ring. Sad fight and horrible defence. However Jhonny is moving up to Super Featherweight so we might get the chance to see a face melting showdown between J. Gonzalez and Y. Gamboa.
