Today in Oslo, WBC, WBA & WBO Female World Welterweight Champion Cecilia Brækhus (25-0, 7 KOs) came face-to-face with IBF Champion Ivana Habazin (13-1, 5 KOs) for the first time ahead of their historic unification fight at TAP1 in Copenhagen on September 13.

At a press conference in the Norwegian capital, the pound-for-pound queen appeared in a confident mood as she discussed the upcoming fight. ‘’For me, this is an incredibly special fight,’’ said Brækhus. ‘’To be the first woman in history to hold all four belts would be the crowning achievement of my career. This has given me all the motivation I need. I can see no other outcome than me taking home all four belts on Saturday.’’ [Click Here To Read More]

I know Cecelia is a hugely popular fighter but I've never seen her fight. What's the scouting report on her?

The early stages of her career I would say she was a counter-puncher fighting on her back foot depending on the opponents aggressiveness. But as her career has progressed so has her fighting style, and she has become very versatile, and I would say she is a boxer-puncher.

She got fast hands, among the fastest in women boxing probably, at least in higher weight classes, great footwork, good jab, good chin, decent defense, but lacking some power. Though she has been working on the power and it has gotten much better in recent years. She is orthodox, but I've seen her go southpaw. She lacks infight skills, at least she doesn't use it much. If you don't need it, you don't need it :P

She fights at welterweight and is WBA, WBC, and WBO champion with 25(7)-0

At the time I'm writing this she has faced and beaten the nr 1 Anne-Sophie Mathis, nr 2 Mikaela Lauren and nr 5 Victoria Cisneros in light middleweight
And welterweight ranked nr 4 Oxandia Castillo, nr 5 Chevelle Hallback, nr 7 Eva Halasi, nr 8 Jessica Balogun x2 and is about to fight nr 9 Ivana Habazin who is IBF champion.
She has also beaten retired all time high ranked light welterweight Maryam Lamare.
