U.S. Bank Arena, Cincinnati, Ohio - Former three division world champion Adrien Broner (29-1, 22KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Taylor (18-3, 12KOs) in an exciting contest. Taylor was dropped in the twelfth and final round. The scores were 115-112, 116-111, 116-111. Photos by Stephanie Trapp, Tom Hogan/Hoganphotos.

In the co-featured attraction, Lucas Matthysse (36-3, 34KOs) defeated previously unbeaten Roberto Ortiz (31-1-1, 24KOs) with a second round knockout. The KO was controversial, with some ringside observers believing that Ortiz beat the count.

żIs it just Me or did anyone else notice the sort of racist comment Broner made? When Jim Grey asked Broner if he expected his opponent to be that good & Broner answered "of course, he's a Africanamerican". If a caucasian fighter fought another caucasian & said the reason his opponent was good was cause he's "White". There would be an outrage from other races accusing that person of thinking his race is superior..

& Berto definitely beeds to work on his defense & on fighting ar least a little more while back peddling. I don't what peopke see in his trainer (Hunter) but I think he's all hype cause I haven't seen any improvement in Angulo, Khan or Berto ever since they started training with him.

I think you need to brush up on your history as well as present day understanding of the relations between AA's & Caucasians in the United states. Your definition of 'racism' to which you're pointing to is off... ****boy. beat it.

Hunter is a con-artist. Andre Ward could train himself.

It wasn't racist, Broner is just an idiot.

If a Polish fighter said that to another Polish fighter I don't think anyone would care. There's nothing wrong with taking pride in your heritage.
