  • Comments Thread For: Roman Gonzalez-Luis Concepcion Looms For Nov. 22nd

With Roman Gonzalez stopping Akira Yaegashi on Friday and Juan Francisco Estrada stopping Giovani Segura on Saturday night, the dreams of fight fans seemed to come true.

The victories over their respective foes would bring about a possible rematch between Gonzalez and Estrada.

The problem is Gonzalez has a possible fight and opponent lined up and it is not against Estrada.

This is the exact reason that he should be one of the top 3 P4P fighters in the world. He stays busy, goes anywhere to fight, and will put his titles on the line against anyone. Hopefully 2015 sees him re-matching Estrada and fighting Shiming.

no way Shiming gets matched up against Chocolatito anytime soon. Best believe they are going for that belt Ruenrong holds.
Gonzalez-Estrada II is prob the next fight, but my interest is also peaking in the Japanese fighter one division south Naoya Inoue.

I know Bob Arum wants to chase the IBF for Shiming, but I'm just hopeful that somehow he'll get a fight with either Shiming or Viloria so he can finally get some network coverage that he deserves. I sick of having to miss one of the best fighters in the world, only to have to watch some youtube video of it in Japanese.

He should just start cleaning out the flyweights and super flyweights. It's only a four pound weight difference, and he has the talent to do it.
