Matthysse, great fighter, he got his chance at greatness, got his chance at being the lineal undisputed champ but he wasn't good enough, i still don't understand why he didn't fight peterson for the belt???? could've been world champ for the first time in his career, like Angel says "somebody go and take the fight with Matthysse thinkin they gonna do what Danny did and get Knocked the fck out", he should focus on that 140 division and when Danny vacates go for the beltsComment

You can understand why that fight would be on his mind. Lucas is a hard luck guy. Most people think he beat Judah, and he didn't get the decision. He beat Alexander and got robbed. He spends 2 years dogging it out and getting little recognition, earns a chance on the biggest stage boxing has seen in years. Then he loses in a tough way that he can look back and second guess for the rest of his life.
You bet your ass his mind is still on Garcia.Comment

God forbid you want to fight the best in your division, if anything we should be celebrating guys saying "fk that...I want the best and 'm ichallenging the best" instead of the new norm of "i fight whoever they pay me to fight". I'm sick of the "play it safe" aspect of boxing these days. The marketing of boxing is taking a very dangerous and wrestling type of approach these days.Comment

It's spelled "CHUMP" @HanzGruber. It's okay, I am used to correcting kids spelling pretty regularly.Comment
