Brook smothered Porter on the inside, which is a common boxing technique to thwart inside attacks. Absolutely nothing wrong with what Brook did to stifle Porters wild swinging and head-first bull-rushing.

Now the other side of the coin is the excessive rabbit-punching committed by Porter, which by rule is a foul and not allowed in boxing.

If team Porter didn't find fault with the legitimate fouls being dished out by Porter, then they should have no issue with the legitimate smothering tactic used by Brook.

If porter wanted to box with brook he would of got eaten, brook is a better technician. He chose to try and rough brook up on the inside and he got it wrong as brook was better at tying him up than he anticipated. It made for a pretty average fight and I wouldn't have argued if it had gone a pint either way. Most damaging shots were landed by brook. But the 2 scorecards were way off. Although dan rafael had a 4 point swing in brooks favour.

What a terrible response...I get that this is right after the fight reaction so I give him that. But...the porters made it a rough sloppy fight & Kell just obliged him. Shawn hit him behind the head CONSTANTLY!! smh. Shawn looked sloppy ALLLLL night....he smothered his own work. He initiated head clashes...& rubbed his head in his face...I don't get the crying. It's a damn fight. I like porter but nahh he lost pretty clearly. He just has to make the adjustment. There is no legitimate gripe in this fight.....at all.

Brook gave as good as he got matching everything that Porter brought to the fight. Porter was outgunned & outclassed by a better technician. Porter's daddy should dry his tears and start looking for a new job. He's a a very one dimensional trainer - Shawn would be better served by replacing him.

I couldn't help but notice that Porter only threw rabbit punches when he was being bear hugged by Kell. I don't blame him. People piss and moan when Molina holds and no one say **** when Maidana constantly fouls and throws rabbit punches. There's always going to be a double standard for some fighters.

Porter fought sloppy and dirty .kell brook fough with porter and the referee .the ref never called out porter hitting in back of the head easy point deducted if that was called ..go cry in maternity
