Comments Thread For: Brook Was Scratching Head at Porter Demolition of Paulie

Kell Brook is certain he’ll surprise Shawn Porter on Saturday night in a manner similar to how Porter surprised Brook by beating Paulie Malignaggi so easily April 19.

England’s Brook (32-0, 22 KOs) expected Malignaggi, a two-division champion respected for his durability, to last a lot longer against Porter (24-0-1, 15 KOs) than he did. Porter stopped Brooklyn’s Malignaggi (33-6, 7 KOs) in the fourth round of their scheduled 12-round fight for Porter’s IBF welterweight title at Washington’s D.C. Armory.

Oh he's seen Porter fight? So he knows what he's in for lol

No wonder he trained so hard, but punching bags don't come at you like Porter.

Paulies a blown up 140lber whos best days are long behind him. He could deal with certain fighters just off skills alone which is why he could handle being at 147 shawns a big welter thats why ge walked through him so easy.

Why was Brook surprised??? Hatton and Khan had already dominated and stopped Pauli! And we know Broner has no punch at 147, maybe even 140, so we know Pauli going the distance with Broner was no big feat.

                Maybe.......

......Brook needs to think harder. Apparently his thinker is broken.

Paulie was/ is a C-level boxer with no punch @ 140. Porter beat a LEFTOVER version of that fighter. People act like Paulie is some great boxer, which he is not. A great talker? Yes.
