Deontay Wilder will be keeping busy this Saturday night when he takes on a Jason Gavern at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, CA as a fight with WBC Heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne looms for November. Wilder is known to stay active and taking on Gavern is a way to keep the rust off and be even more prepared for his upcoming assignment.
While the 2008 Olympics Heavyweight bronze medalist has his eyes set on Stiverne, Wilder also has the current WBA, IBF and WBO Heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitshcko on his radar. The Klitschko brothers which included the now retired Vitali, have dominated the division for the last several years.
