SHANGHAI -- Fist of Power, the new weekly one-hour television boxing programme which is broadcast throughout China, will presents its first live boxing event on Tuesday, August 26, beginning at (time). Emanating from the Mercedes-Benz Center in Shanghai, China, the live telecast of Fist of Power will feature IK YANG (15-0, 9 KOs), of Dalian China in a 10-round junior welterweight bout against SUKKASEM KIETYONGYUTH (13-2, 8 KOs), of Roi-Et, Thailand. The co-main event will feature Top-10 contenders RANDY PETALCORIN (21-1-1, 16 KOs), of General Santos, Philippines, battling WALTER TELLO (20-7, 8 KOs), of Puerto Armuelles, Panama for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) interim light flyweight world title. Fist Power is the latest joint venture from Top RankŪ, SECA and Sands China Ltd., who have been building the growth of boxing in the People's Republic of China by producing and promoting six world championship events in Macao over the past 15 months.
