    According to World of Boxing promoter Andrei Ryabinsky, the contracts have been signed for Alexander Povetkin (27-0, 19KOs)to face Carlos Takam (30-1-1, 23KOs) on October 24th in Moscow. The likely venue is the Palace of Sports in Luzhniki. The fight will have Takam's WBC silver heavyweight championship at stake.

    The winner will move a big step forward in securing a shot at the WBC crown, which is currently held by Bermane Stiverne of Canada.

    Another well written story.

    Good thing it was sourced from some bull**** Russian website.

    Apparently the Kremlin has forbid the Russian media from acknowledging Povetkin's loss to Klitschko and in Russia he remains undefeated at 27-0.

              Really good to see a heavyweight wanting to fight the best of the rest continuously.

                  He is a good, he is a hard working heavyweight who can take a good work-rate to a fight...
                  Might work against him If he isn't crude with that work-rate though because I just see Povetkin picking him apart with counters.
