And why, if I may ask?

i wanted froch to win, and if i knew how to find my posts from the time period i could prove that.

i have no reason to lie to you.

i will root for froch to get stopped if they ever rematch, but that's just me being selfish and wanting NSB to crumble.

NE was supporting the black half of Andre Ward.

WTF has eye-test to do with pure facts.

Froch is on PPV and sells out big arenas every time he fights. Ward can't attract viewers to free HBO let alone PPV and fights infront of 5-8k fans.

Are you really that thick to think people would miss Ward more than Froch when they don't even want to watch him when he's active?

It could be his willingness to fight the #1 guy coming off a defeat to a guy who chose not to fight that guy, or when he went around the world fighting everyone that wanted it.

Maybe you won't miss him, but Froch sold more tickets in his last fight than Ward has in his entire career - which should tell you something about the interest.
No-Froch and groves sold more tickets than ward ever did because English fans felt Froch got a premature stoppage. that tells me about how interested England was in that fight-not froch in particular.

Look, froch is a damn good fighter as I've said throughout this thread. But he isn't as good as ward and his string of current victories doesn't allow him to supplant ward while andre is out handling his business.

ward is oneof HBO's best draws on championship boxing [the highest paying show below PPV,] and he's one of the bigger domestic draws in the states as well.

people who care about the boxing, and not the laundry [colors of a flag,] will miss andre ward. he's a much more significant fighter. his wins mean more to the history of the sport. his resume is better. he annihilated froch when they fought.

froch will be remembered as well, but he's lower on any all time list at 168 worth a damn.

That's not entirely true, but of course it added interest. Froch-Groves I sold out in 8 minutes, that was 20k. Froch-Kessler sold out in 20, another 20 k. Froch vs Groves I could easily have sold 40k tickets and probably more.

He definitely isn't as good as Ward, but that still doesn't change the fact that Froch will be remembered in far greater light than Ward because he is what he is. A warrior who fights everyone.

Ward will be remembered as a great fighter, but currenty he's wasting his time suing his promoter and doing TV stuff.

His wins will mean more to the history of the sport? Are you kidding me? That's not true at all. Froch has just as many significant wins and a helluva lot more rewatchable fights than Ward has.

When people, and I'm talking the general public, think of Ward, they're like "meh". Nobody talks about him on the forums, or about who he's going to fight next or about that one time when he fought someone that was a great fight.. nobody does that.

And his resume is certainly not better than Froch's. Stop yourself.

              • For those who haven't seen this video, please watch it; it will take less than 3 minutes of your time once the fight starts.

Complete demolition and remarkable performance from Rodriguez. I have no idea how he's being a called a bum by posters in this thread.

                  • Ward. And 25 votes in an internet poll can't change that.

So a KO victory for Kovalev over Sillakh makes him a god but a Grachev KO victory makes him complete crap.
