EBU lightweight champion Emiliano Marsili (29-0-1) will make a voluntary defence of the title on September 27 in Viterbo (Italy) and the opponent will be Hungarian Gyorgy Miszei, Jr (20-10). Miszei, Jr, won the vacant EU title earlier this year with an upset win over Brunet Zamora and lost the title in his first defence to Jean Pierre Bauwens but it was a controversial stoppage. Still, it looks like a relatively easy fight for Marsili.
