Fresh off his 12 round victory over long time rival Graham Earl for the WBU crown, his second fight back after a brief break from the sport, Katsidis is eyeing off potential match ups with Englishman Derry Mathews, former lightweight champ and foe Juan Diaz and hard hitting warrior Brandon Rios.

Rios would absolutely wreck Kats, but I'm not sure about Diaz because I haven't seen any of his post-Marquez II fights.

If I were Brandon Rios I would be all over this fight. This is the perfect stylistic match up he would need to get back into winning ways again. Unfortunately, all Katsidis really has going for him in this or any fight against top tier guys is his name and that's why Rios would take the fight. Katsidis' best days are behind him due to his style.

I haven't taken the time to watch Diaz on his comeback but I assume he hasn't changed his spots much either and I would imagine a repeat of the first fight. Plain and simple, Diaz is more proficient boxer than Katsidis and his combination punching will earn him another victory if the rematch happens.
