If IBF/WBA light heavyweight champion (55-6-2, 32KOs) overcomes the tough challenge of WBO champ Sergey Kovalev (25-0-1, 23KOs) on November 8th, he is going to pursue the biggest fight possible - and that fight might not necessarily be a unification with WBC kingpin Adonis Stevenson.
Hopkins said he was willing to go down in weight for the right fight, and hinted at two possible names in the lower weight division. He said he was open to facing someone with a 'four letter word' [WBA super middleweight champ Andre Ward] or a 'three letter word' [WBA/IBO 160-pound champ Gennady "GGG" Golovkin].
