very close but i'd have to go with pacquiao. pac not only genuinely tries to go for KOs but he has a much higher work rate as well. very exciting fighter.

Pacquiao now or in his prime?

Now it's GGG no question, in his prime it was unbelievable to watch the pacman destroy his way through the lower divisions and IMO is easily the most exciting fighter of this era.

GGG if were talking about now but if we compare back when Manny is on his prime, I'd go for Manny.

Manny has a more pleasing and exciting style to watch... With GGG, you can just feel him slowly inching his way closer to a KO finish, unperturbed by the power of his opponent, remaining dead calm...which is great in itself, but Manny has/had that explosive speed where he'd just overwhelm his opponent with speed, aggression and a barrage of punches from all angles... Manny is the better athlete with that killer instinct... Both are great though.

If we are talking right now? Then its easily GGG. But if we are talking in Manny's past then its Manny easily.

                      more exciting fighter?

well this borders on being subjective..

do you like pizza or burger? with hot sauce or more cheese?

for one, who is to get excited? the fans, yes?

then does it follow that floyd who is considered by many the money and ppv king the most exciting fighter today? even he has less ko wins?

now, in line with the above, does ggg has more viewers ppvs than pac?

yes, a ko is a very definitive win but it does not really directly equate to an exciting fight....

there are so many factors that make up an exciting fight...i'll give a few..

history and/or intrigue between the fighters like erik vs mab; pac vs erik, pac vs jmm just to name a few...

the competitiveness and name recall or popularity of one or both fighters like in ali vs frazer, ali vs foreman, srl vs hagler etc., etc..
