Back before Floyd Mayweather fought Marcos Maidana this past May, there had been a poll up on his website asking fans who they’d like to see him face — Maidana or Amir Khan.

Mayweather chose Maidana, won a decision and is fighting him again in a rematch this September. The pound-for-pound king spoke with a small group of reporters on July 14, and one reporter asked Mayweather would be facing Khan this fall instead had it not been for Khan saying he couldn’t fight this September due to the fasting done for the holiday of Ramadan for several weeks during which a training camp would’ve been held.

He just needs to fight Guerrero or Porter/Brook winner in December and he can get his shot. He just needs to stop crying and let his fist do the talking. That's always been his problem.

I love how Floyd refers to Peterson as "the little kid from here" like he doesn't know it's Lamont Peterson lol

All this does is highlights the fact that Khan needs a good win this year over a Guerrero, Thurman, Porter/Brook to get a shot at Floyd.

And I guess Maidana still has Devon, Khan and Kotelnik problems then.

And Guerrero had Salido problems.

Cotto had Manny problems.

Ortiz had Maidana and Peterson problems.

Mosley had Cotto problems.

And the list goes on and on.

If I was a journalist I'd ask Floyd where these problems were when he sent Team Khan a contract and then included him in a poll and when he won that poll.
