Undefeated Puerto Rican prospect John Karl Sosa (12-0) has advised BoxingScene.com that he will likely return to the ring on August 9th, as part of the Danny Garcia-Rod Salka undercard. The Showtime televised event takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Sosa won a split decision over Luis Bello on Saturday night in Las Vegas, as part of the Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Erislandy Lara undercard. Sosa is promoted by Puerto Rico Best Boxing, who work closely with Golden Boy Promotions.
