    New Daily News article today....appears Algieri and his promoter have a serious disconnect. Kid is playing hardball and his manager says it isn't about money but in interview yesterday Algieri said it IS about money and getting paid what he is worth.                 I just found out his promoter wants 60% of the purse. So who could blame Algieri? I wouldn't fight Pacquiao in China for 600 K and give my promoter who isn't fighting or paying other expenses, trainers, camp etc more than I was making. I don't blame Algieri one bit. This is bs at its highest level. This promoter should be shot. What a scumbag. Good for Chris turning it down....now that promoter gets nothing. Greedy scumbag. Respect

                    That would be understandable then.

                    Isn't there a rule that a promoter can only take a maximum of 25% or 30%? Something like that?
