    According to Nevada State Athletic Commission the purses for Saturday’s Showtime Pay-per-view have been logged as follows.

    Canelo Alvarez will receive $1.5million for his headlining bout against Erislandy Lara, though he can expect to earn substantially more based on the revenue generated by the PPV. While Lara will make a career high $1million, again he will get a cut of the PPV pie. [Click Here To Read More]

      Al Haymon still gettin his fighters their career high paydays, idk anything about the man just like pretty much anyone else in the world but from what i can see he gets his fighters paid very well

                  Canelo will make more. Probably about 4 million. Lara is making a mill because the fighters on the under card are making peanuts apart from mares. Not becoz of haymon. If the card was stronger hed make less.

                          Regardless of the outcome on this great weekend of boxing I'm happy that Lara's decision to defect from Cuba has now definitely paid off . Seems like more than a fare split. He should be able to support his family here in the U.S. and back home in Cuba off this. THE AMERICAN DREAM!

                              The guy above say Haymon doesn't have an influence of Lara pay because the undercard isn't that strong.. I guess he doesn't realize there is Mares on the card getting 400,000 coming off a KO loss. Also the fact of the matter is Lara is getting a cut of the PPV as well.

                                  On the guaranteed portion, yes, but the real money is made on the back end. I'm sure at the end of the day canelo is going to Make 3-4x more than Lara is.

                                      Why would lara get a ppv split!?? I don't think he is he only has 15 fans and only 2 of them buying ppv
