George Groves will return to the ring against Christopher Rebrasse on September 20 and insists his next fight is bigger than his double-header against British rival Carl Froch..

The 26-year-old super-middleweight lost twice to Froch in IBF and WBA title fights, with the second defeat coming at Wembley Stadium in May, but a bout against European champion Christopher Rebrasse on September 20 offers Groves the chance to get back to winning ways.

With the fight at Wembley also acting as a final eliminator for the WBC world super-middleweight title, Groves knows another defeat could cause serious harm to his title credentials.

Groves wont be world champ. Hes got no chin. Froch isnt known for one punch ko power and hes took groves out with 1 punch.

Despite as yet achieving nothing George Groves has already written himself into British boxing immortality with, "The Carl Froch fight, obviously the magnitude of it beat anything else we have ever seen in British boxing." I suppose Randy Turpin's win over Sugar Ray Robinson for the middleweight title at Earls Court in 1951 pales into insignificance, given that the immortal Ray, who was never beaten as an amateur and had lost just one of 131 pro fights (to Jake La Motta who'd out-weighed him by 15 pounds) going into that fight didn't enjoy quite as high a profile as Groves. And if we're just talking crowd numbers, 70,000 turned up at London's White City pre-war to see Jack Doyle throw a right hand, miss, and fall out of the ring on the follow through for a hilarious first round KO loss to Eddie Phillips. Hardly a great event in British boxing history! Groves needs to get a grip on where he's at. Oh, yeah, almost forgot to mention that DeGale won't make any mistake against the ginger minger next time.

Groves gets stopped in his last 2 fights and is now fighting in an eliminator bout. Boxing... go figure.

Groves is overrated. His claim to fame was gettin stopped by froch twice. He hasnt beat anyone. The degale fight was close could have went either way. He got the nod fair play to him. But other than that he aint beat anyone. Hes got no chin and no stamina. Not only im sayin this people in the game say it too.
