Clottey is a great fighter had some tough breaks but he is a great fighter and I would not write him off against anyone at 154lb till he shows me that he cant compete with them.

josh clottey used to put on a TON of weight after hitting 147. 15+ lbs of actual weight gain between the weigh in and fight.

without the pacquiao fight, i'd take clottey much more seriously. i just can't get past a fight where a guy looked like he was ready to retire.

you get the biggest fight of your career, and you do that? how am i supposed to take him seriously?

i need more than him putting a whipping on tony mundine. mundine is 39 years old, and was always horrible. the man was stopped with one punch by sven freaking ottke.

clottey's 37, has been largely inactive, and he looked ready for retirement in the manny fight. i have zero hope for him until he does more than beat anthony mundine.
