Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford Heading To 140-Pounds After Gamboa

According to WBO lightweight champion Terrence Crawford (23-0, 16KOs), his fight Saturday night against Yuriorkis Gamboa will likely be his last fight in the division.

The 5'8" Crawford made his HBO debut last year when he moved up to 140 pounds and defeated Columbian slugger Breidis Prescott on short notice. Since that fight he has fought three times with all of those fights taking place at 135 pounds.

Why does he have to be with TR? I'd love nothing more than to see him beat Garcia and Matthysse.

    There's always Ruslan.

Nice. TR needed more options at 140.

Hope he is not struggling to make weight - he just won the title...
Crawford is a handfull - remember he used to be tim bradley's chief sparring partner and what people have to realize about Bradley is, yes he is not the best puncher but he is a beast in the ring, very physical mauling type of fighter and Crawford has always been like 2 divisions under Bradley so the man can really hold his own..

140 is about to be better than 147.
